Application and Web Service Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

Scope and service-specific disclosures

This policy applies to native applications, websites, and web services provided by the developer operating this site (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It is designed to be shared across multiple products and services.

Not every product uses every feature or third-party service described below. A section applies only when the application, website, or web service you use offers or enables that feature. App Store privacy labels, permission prompts, account settings, cookie or consent notices, product pages, and in-service disclosures identify the practices of the specific product and version.

Unless a product expressly provides an account service, no developer account is required. We do not sell or rent user-created content or credentials. If advertising processing may be treated as a sale or sharing under local law, the advertising section describes the available choices.

Information a product or service may handle

Account and contact information. When a service offers accounts, support, newsletters, or collaboration, it may process a name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, profile settings, organization membership, and messages you submit. Only the fields shown by that service are collected.

User content. Depending on product features, this may include text, notes, documents, images, camera frames, audio, files, translations, attachments, form entries, comments, or other content you choose to create, upload, import, or capture. Content is used to provide the action or service you request.

Device permissions. A native app may request access to resources such as the camera, photo library, microphone, files, notifications, or location only when needed for an offered feature. The system permission prompt describes the immediate purpose. Permission can be denied or revoked in device settings.

Settings and credentials. Preferences, feature selections, language choices, session state, and similar configuration may be stored locally or with the service. Credentials supplied for optional third-party services may be stored in secure platform storage and are used only to authenticate the service you select.

Usage and technical information. A web service or network feature may receive IP address, browser or device type, operating system, language, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, session and security identifiers, feature interactions, crash information, and performance diagnostics. These data are used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service and, when separately disclosed, for analytics or advertising.

Purchases and subscriptions. When a paid feature is offered, Apple, a payment processor, or another store may process payment and transaction information. We normally receive transaction status, product, amount, currency, and subscription identifiers rather than full card details, unless a checkout notice states otherwise.

Information processed only on your device is not received by us. If a feature transmits information off the device, the applicable section below explains the destination and purpose.

Apple and cloud services

When an app offers iCloud or CloudKit synchronization and you enable it, app content and settings may be stored in your private iCloud database and synchronized through your Apple account. If Keychain synchronization is enabled, Apple may synchronize eligible credentials through iCloud Keychain.

Apple processes this information under the Apple Privacy Policy. Cloud and Keychain behavior can be managed through your Apple account and device settings.

Web-service accounts and server storage

When a web service or account-backed feature is offered, account data, user content, settings, access logs, and service metadata may be transmitted to and stored on servers operated by us or contracted hosting providers. The service interface or product notice identifies the content required for that feature.

Authentication may use passwords, passkeys, sign-in tokens, email links, or a third-party identity provider. Passwords handled directly by us are stored using one-way password hashing rather than as readable text. Session cookies or local storage may be used to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember choices, and prevent abuse.

If account creation is available, the service provides an account-deletion method in the app or web service when required, or accepts deletion requests at privacy@konjaknote.com.

Optional external and AI providers

Some apps let you choose an external provider for features such as OCR, translation, generation, analysis, or synchronization. When you request such a feature, the app sends only the content and instructions needed to perform that request. The provider also receives network information such as your IP address and may create service diagnostics.

A provider processes and retains information under its own terms and privacy policy. Providers offered by an app may include OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Where an on-device alternative is offered, selecting it avoids sending feature content to an external AI provider.

Advertising in apps and web services

When this section applies. This section applies only to an application, website, or web service that displays advertising or includes an advertising SDK or tag. If a product is described as ad-free and displays no ads, the advertising services described here are not used by that product.

Google AdMob in native apps. Google Mobile Ads and configured advertising partners may automatically process IP address and IP-derived coarse location, crash logs, performance data, app- or developer-scoped device identifiers, advertising data such as ads viewed, and interactions such as app launches, taps, and video views. These data may be used to deliver and measure ads, provide analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose failures, and improve SDK performance. See the Google Mobile Ads iOS data disclosure, Google Privacy Policy, and Google partner-sites notice.

Advertising on websites. If a website or web service enables advertising, the applicable page identifies the advertising provider and presents any required cookie or consent controls. Advertising tags may process cookies or local storage, IP address, browser and device information, page views, ad impressions, clicks, approximate location, and consent signals for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control, security, and—only when permitted—personalization.

Personalization and identifiers. An app may configure non-personalized advertising, disable publisher first-party ID, and avoid requesting App Tracking Transparency access. Those settings are stated in the applicable app's store listing or in-app notice. Non-personalized ads can still use contextual information, coarse location, frequency controls, aggregated reporting, and fraud-prevention signals.

Consent and opt-out choices. When UMP is used, consent information is refreshed before ads are requested. Where required, UMP presents a message for users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland and provides a privacy-options entry point. For covered US states, a message may provide “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and targeted-advertising choices. Google and configured partners receive the resulting consent or opt-out signals.

Websites, cookies, analytics, and support

Related product websites may use Cloudflare to deliver and protect pages. Cloudflare may process IP address, browser or device details, requested URL, time, and security signals for delivery, abuse prevention, and attack mitigation under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Websites and web services may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for authentication, security, load balancing, preferences, and requested functionality. Optional analytics, advertising, or personalization storage is used only when identified by the service and, where required, after an appropriate consent choice. Browser controls can block or clear storage, although doing so may disable features.

If you contact support, we use your email address, message, and attachments to respond and keep them only as reasonably needed for support, security, and recordkeeping. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and include an unsubscribe method.

Sharing, safeguards, and transfers

Information is shared only with a service needed for a feature you enable, such as Apple, hosting and infrastructure providers, payment and identity providers, a selected cloud or AI provider, Cloudflare, or—when advertising is present—Google and configured advertising partners. Providers are expected to protect information consistently with their published commitments and applicable platform requirements.

Apps use safeguards appropriate to their features, such as platform sandboxing, secure credential storage, HTTPS, private cloud databases, data minimization, and separation of optional SDKs. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies and contractual terms govern those transfers.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored content and settings remain until you delete them, reset the app, or remove the app, subject to device backup behavior. Credentials remain until removed from the app or secure storage. Removing an app may not delete information already synchronized to a cloud service.

Account and server-side content is kept while the account or service relationship remains active and then deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period, except for backups, security records, transaction records, disputes, or information that must be retained by law. Backup copies are removed through the normal backup lifecycle.

Third-party providers retain information according to their policies and your account, consent, or contract settings. If a product has no developer-operated account or backend, we normally have no product content to retrieve or delete.

For deletion of information under our control, contact privacy@konjaknote.com. We may need enough information to verify and complete the request, and may retain records when required for security or legal obligations.

Your privacy choices

Depending on the product, you can deny or revoke device permissions, use on-device processing, disable cloud synchronization, remove provider credentials, delete content or an account, change service providers, manage cookies, unsubscribe from marketing, remove the app, stop using the web service, or contact us.

When advertising is enabled, use the app's privacy-options entry point when available to review or change UMP choices. Applicable US-state messages provide opt-out choices for sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as those terms are defined by local law.

Withdrawing permission or consent may prevent a related feature from working and does not undo processing already completed by a third party. Contact that provider directly for rights concerning information it controls.

Children

Unless a product and its store listing or service notice expressly state otherwise, our applications and web services are not directed to children under 13. Do not enable an external provider or advertising for a child unless you are authorized and the product, provider terms, and applicable law permit that use.

Changes and contact

This policy, app-store privacy disclosures, and web-service notices are reviewed when data collection, third-party SDKs, service providers, cookies, or advertising behavior changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be published before the affected feature, build, or service change is introduced.
