Konjac Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the Konjac app. By selecting “Agree to the Terms and Get Started” or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Konjac provides OCR, note, and translation tools. Recognition and translation results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing results and deciding whether they are suitable for your purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer and app provider are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

External AI services are optional. If you use one, you supply and manage its API key and must follow that provider’s terms, usage limits, and billing rules.

You are responsible for protecting your API keys, monitoring usage and charges, and revoking or replacing a key if it may have been exposed. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer and app provider are not liable for loss, unauthorized use, excessive usage, or charges caused by API key leakage, disclosure, theft, or misuse.

Konjac Standard and Konjac Ad Free use the same iCloud/CloudKit container. When you use both editions with the same iCloud account, cloud-synced notes may appear in and be edited or deleted from either edition, and those changes may sync across the editions and your devices. Keep separate backups of important notes.

Use the app lawfully and only with content you are permitted to capture, process, translate, store, or share. You are responsible for app settings, external-provider selections, saved notes, exports, and backups.

How Konjac and optional services handle information is described in the Privacy Policy. We may update these terms when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
